Keep in mind these are just general recommendations, you will need to alter your rune and stat builds based on what content you want to use this monster for and what team you are using him with.
If you’re looking for detailed rune and stat builds you should take a look at SWMaster’s Rune Farming Guide – I have been a member of their site since I was new to Summoners War and would highly recommend it to all players.
•The Fire String Master, Hongyeon is a tanky monster that does damage over time with her 2nd skill.
•As a tank she can also sustain with her heal.
•She can be used in a cleave team with her ATK bar push and ATK power buff, however with her heal she is best with a bruiser team.
•Her leader skill improves her tankiness.
•Hongyeon has low base speed.
•Her first skill doesn't offer much and maxes at 75% chance.
•Her 2nd skill maxes at 65% chance making it unreliable.
•She does very little damage.
•2 of her skills stops her from joining with allies when attacking so she can't be used with Kro, Raoq, or Lisa.
GB10 (0/10): Hongyeon is not usable for GB10.
DB10 (5/10): She can be used in early teams.
NB10 (0/10): She has no multi hits to break through the boss' shield.
ToA (6/10): She can be used for some early teams due to her ATK buff and heal. She could also be used with a DoTs team to do even more damage over time.
Rift of Worlds (6/10): She could be used in an R5 team as a healer and ATK buffer, however Colleen is a better option.
Labyrinth (6/10): She can be used here for more turn cycles, helpful with speed limit stages.
Dimensional Hole (4/10): She's usable in some stages.
Arena (7/10): She useful as an Anti-Lushen tank for defense.
Guild Wars (8/10): She can be used as cleave team similiar to Orion, Megan, Bastet, etc.
RTA (7/10): She can be used here for more turn cycles.
