Keep in mind these are just general recommendations, you will need to alter your rune and stat builds based on what content you want to use this monster for and what team you are using him with.

Early Build

In the early-mid game, it's hard to get good speed on him so make him as tanky as possible. Only use energy runes if you can't get enough HP on him.

Vampire/Revenge or Vampire/Nemesis are good runes to use since he can heal himself back up and either revenge (for DEF break) or gain ATK bar.

Late Build

Towards the end game he needs SPD on slot 2. Here he needs super tanky runes. Resistance is also recommended as your opponent will most likely target him on DEF.

*Keep in mind, resistance should be last. Don't compromise your other stats for resistance.

Violent/Will is recommended to avoid being CC off the bat and potentially do big damage and DEF break in the same turn.

Learn About Runes, Drop Locations, and More!

•Mo Long in Summoners War does 70% Max HP damage on the enemy on his 3rd skill!

•He's an excellent monster on both Offense and Defense because he serves as both a damage dealer and tank.

•His 2nd skill is also a multi hit and does AoE strip.

•His 1st skill has three chances to DEF break.

•He has a huge HP leader skill which pairs well with monsters like Skogul.

•Molong also does big damage to himself when he uses 3rd skill.

•He needs a reliable healer like Chasun to sustain him.

•You need him fully skilled up to get the most out of him.

•Monsters like Khmun or Bastet that put up a Shield can cancel a lot of damage.

GB12 (3/10): Molong can be used in Giants B12, however his 3rd skill makes him a liability. He'll need a good healer to sustain him.

DB12 (3/10): He has a similar role in Dragon's B12 as in GB12.

NB12 (5/10): Two of his skills are multi hits which is great for breaking through the Necro B12 shield. He is a bit of a wild card here since his 3rd skill only does 15% of the boss Max HP.

SF10 (2/10): There's too many things that can go wrong to use him in Steel Fortress B10.

PC10 (1/10): He is not recommended for Punisher Crypt B10.

ToA (0/10): He lacks enough CC to be useful in ToA.

Rift of Worlds (0/10): He has no real role here. Boss' only receive 15% of the damage from his 3rd skill.

Labyrinth (2/10): He isn't a great choice here.

Dimensional Hole (0/10): He is not recommended here.

Arena (8/10): He is an excellent monster on DEF and can be used to counter various offenses as you climb the ranks.

Guild Wars (9/10): Mo Long is extremely useful monster here. He can be scary on Defense due to his DEF break and Big Damage while also useful on Offense to tank and nuke the threat monster.

RTA (7/10): He is a great counter monster to Fire and Wind comps. Don't pick him 1st. He should be picked when needed.

Give these monster combos a try to get the most out of Mo Long!

Mo Long SW.png

Mo Long + Chasun

Mo Long and Chasun is an sustain combo. Since Mo Long takes big damage to himself after skill 3, Chasun is great to cancel that effect and fully him him back up. Combined with Mo Long's overall tankiness, this makes him much more difficult to kill.

Mo Long SW.png

Mo Long + Skogul

Another good combo is Mo Long and Skogul with two tanky monsters that deal big damage. Mo Long's HP leader skill really pairs well with Skogul who does damage off his HP. Together, they make a scary Defense that only the brave will dare to challenge.
