Only use CR on slot 4 if you can't get enough CR substats. Keep in mind these are just general recommendations, you will need to alter your rune and stat builds based on what content you want to use this monster for and what team you are using him with. 
 

SHAMANN BUILDS / STRATEGY

Full Damage / Speed Run Build 
To improve your run times, he needs to be on Rage + Blade. He's easy to build as he doesn't need a ton of speed and no accuracy or resistance. Load up as much Crit Rate, Crit Damage, and HP as you can get on him and watch high nuke down big bosses with ease!

STRENGTHS/WEAKNESSES

Strengths:
•The Light Griffon, Shamann is a great an insane Boss Killer in Summoners War! 
•Since his second skill is scaled off enemy's max HP.
•He is easy to rune and easily skilled up at Tamor (drops Wind Griffon).  
•His passive makes him a beast in NAH and NB10.
 
Weakness:
•Shamann is strictly PvE and not useful in PvP.

GB10 (8/10): His HP Scaling damage shines in Giants. 

GAH (9/10): His HP Scaling damage is even better in Giants Abyss. 

DB10 (8/10): His HP Scaling damage shines in Dragons

DAH (8/10)His HP Scaling damage is even better in Giants Abyss. 

NB10 (10/10): His HP Scaling damage is the amazing in Necropolis.

NAH (10/10): Shamann is hands down the best DPS unit for Necro Abyss as no one else can do damage like he can.

SB10 (6/10): He is definitely useable in Spiritual Realm for big damage.

ToA (9/10): He shines here because he keeps everyone at bay while dealing damage.

 

Rift of Worlds (0/10): He is not useful here.

 

Labyrinth (4/10): He can be used in the speed limitation stages. 

 

Dimensional Hole (0/10): He doesn't seem to have any place in the Dimensional Hole other than to second awaken him. 

 

Arena (1/10): You need AoE cleave teams to farm Arena. 

 

Guild Wars (1/10): He should only be used in PvP when you are very new to the game and only have a few monsters runed up. 

 

RTA (1/10): He doesn't offer enough to be of much use in RTA.
