SONNET RUNES
Keep in mind these are just general recommendations, you will need to alter your rune and stat builds based on what content you want to use this monster for and what team you are using him with.
SONNET BUILDS / STRATEGY
General Build
Sonnet is pretty straight forward to build. She needs a good amount of speed to gain first turn. If you are early game then swift runes will help get you there. In the later game you want her on Violent to potentially sleep any opponents that were missed.
She should be tanky with good accuracy. A good idea is to bring her with a reliable stripper and have her go after.
STRENGTHS/WEAKNESSES
Strengths:
•Sonnet in Summoners War is sleep machine with all 3 skill as sleep!
•Two of her skills are AoE sleep.
•Her 3rd skill gives a big shield around you allies based on her HP.
•She is great for holding down the enemy as you nuke them one by one.
Weakness:
•Immunity monsters like Fran, Chloe, or Lulu will prevent her from sleeping your allies.
•She needs to be fully skilled up to be effective.
RANKING
GB12 (2/10): Sonnet isn't really recommended in Giants B12 since her sleep doesn't work on the Giant and you mainly want AoE CC units to auto this area which means they'll wake up the other monsters.
DB12 (1/10): She has no real role in Dragons B12.
NB12 (0/10): She doesn't have enough multi hits to break through the Necro B12 shield and the boss can't be put to sleep.
ToA (6/10): She can be used in some niche teams like the Ragdoll stage or counter attack stages so you can nuke down the enemies one by one.
SF10 (0/10): She isn't recommended in Steel Fortress B10.
PC10 (0/10): She isn't recommended in Punisher Crypt B10.
Rift of Worlds (0/10): She serves no purpose here.
Labyrinth (6/10): She has a similiar role here as in ToA.
Dimensional Hole (0/10): She is not recommended here.
Arena (5/10): She can be used as you climb the ladder to lock down the enemies to kill the threat monsters.
Guild Wars (7/10): She is a good unit for Guild Offense due to her CC to lock down the enemies.
RTA (7/10): Her abundant sleep is great for locking down the enemies so you can deal with the threat first.
COMBO WITH SONNET
No Hathor? No Worries!
Sonnet + Ganymede
One great thing about Sonnet is she is a good budget substitute for the very meta team of Hathor and Ganymede. Ganymede's 3rd skill "Seal Magic" will reset the skills of a monster to max cooldown while setting the ATK bar of all enemy monsters to 0. This combo is great because Ganymede does not wake up the other monsters. He can also make your sleep skill instantly ready with his 2nd skill.
