Dragon's Lair (DB10) Beginners Guide - Best Teams, Monsters & Runes

Welcome to the Beginners Guide for Dragon's Lair, Basement 10 (DB10)! In this guide, we'll break down the three stages of DB10 teams: from your initial starter team to a faster team, and ultimately, speed teams.

Once you've gone through this guide, you'll have a clear understanding of which units to build based on your current game stage. Our main goal here is to achieve a 100% success rate with your DB10 team, with an average runtime of around 40 to 50 seconds. By doing this efficiently, you'll be able to supercharge your rune farming and make rapid progress in your Summoners War journey.

It's essential to note that building a 100% success rate speed team doesn't solely rely on having super rare 5-star monsters (nat 5's). Instead, it's all about creating a well-coordinated team with the right rune builds to maximize its potential. Let's dive in and conquer the Dragon's Lair together!

Why Farming DB10 is Important

Farming Dragon’s Lair, Basement 10 (DB10) should be your fourth major goal in Summoners War, right after completing Scenarios, GB10, and ToA Normal.

DB10 becomes the fourth goal because it's where you can obtain the highly sought-after Violent runes, which are the most important and widely used rune set in the entire game. Additionally, DB10 drops other rune sets like Revenge and Shield, which come in handy for making farming NB10 (the last dungeon) much easier.

For free-to-play players or those spending $30-$100 a month on in-game packs, the focus should be on building a team with the highest success rate possible. This approach will help you get more runes efficiently using your energy and crystals.

However, if you're someone who buys multiple packs every month or doesn't have much time to play, speed becomes more critical. Prioritizing speed will help you maximize your rune drops and progression in the game. So, after conquering the previous goals, aim to conquer DB10 and unlock the potential of powerful Violent runes!

Early-Beginner Team

When to build this team and venture into DB10: You should consider building this team once you've been farming GB10 consistently, have collected decent rune quality, and summoned or fused the necessary monsters.

Minimum Stats and Requirements:

  • HP: For non-Water monsters, aim for 20k+ HP, and for Water monsters, target 18k+ HP.

  • Def: Ensure you have at least 700 Defense; if your Defense is lower, you'll need higher HP than the requirements mentioned above.

  • Accuracy: Aim for 55% accuracy on important debuffers or strippers. Getting close to 55% is essential since it's the cap for accuracy in DB10 and boosts the success rate of your runs.

  • Speed: Your monsters should have 200+ speed on Swift or non-Violent runes, including the speed tower bonus.

By meeting these requirements, you'll be well-prepared to dive into DB10 and tackle its challenges with confidence. So, once you've accomplished the prerequisites, it's time to assemble the team and conquer Dragon's Lair Basement 10!
