Giants Keep (GB10) Beginners Guide - Best Teams, Monsters & Runes

Welcome to the Beginners Guide for Giants Keep, Basement 10 (GB10)! In this guide, we'll break down the three stages of GB10 teams: from your initial starter team to a faster team, and ultimately, speed teams.

Once you've gone through this guide, you'll have a clear understanding of which units to build based on your current game stage. Our main goal here is to achieve a 100% success rate with your GB10 team, with an average runtime of around 40 seconds. By doing this efficiently, you'll be able to supercharge your rune farming and make rapid progress in your Summoners War journey.

It's essential to note that building a 100% success rate speed team doesn't solely rely on having super rare 5-star monsters (nat 5's). Instead, it's all about creating a well-coordinated team with the right rune builds to maximize its potential. Let's dive in and conquer the Giants Keep together!

Why Farming GB10 is Important

Giant’s Keep, Basement 10 (GB10), should be your top priority in Summoners War. Why? Because runes are the absolute key to success in every part of the game. Without great runes, it's tough to thrive in any area.

GB10 is also awesome because it drops some of the best rune types you can find. And the best part is, these runes work wonders in every aspect of the game. Unlike other dungeons like NB10 that mostly drop runes for PvP content, GB10's loot is universally useful.

Now, here's the deal: If you're a free-to-play player or spend around $30-$100 monthly on in-game packs, focus on building a team with the highest success rate. Why? Because this way, you'll maximize the number of runes you get for your hard-earned energy and crystals.

But hey, if you buy multiple packs each month or have limited time to play, then speed becomes a more critical factor. Speeding up your runs will help you get more rune drops, boosting your progress in no time. So consider your play style and dive into GB10 – the gateway to rune greatness!

Early-Beginner Team

Who should build this kind of team: If you can't farm GB10 automatically with a success rate above 90%, then this starter team is perfect for you.

If you already have a starter team that can reliably farm GB10, skip ahead to the Fast Team or Speed Team sections.

Here are the minimum stats and requirements you need:

  • HP: 17k+ for Non-Wind Monsters and 15k+ for Wind Monsters.

  • Accuracy: Aim for 35% on important debuffers, but try to hit 45% if possible (it's the cap for accuracy in GB10 and boosts success rate).

  • Speed: At least 170+ for essential debuffers and healers.

Most of your team should be Swift/Focus or Swift/Energy with Speed/HP%/HP% main stats on slots 2/4/6. If you can, use an HP% rune in place of a Def% rune, but make sure to get solid HP% substats.

To get these runes, it's best to farm lower floors of giants like GB6-8 until your monsters meet the minimum requirements listed above.

Also, remember to fully skill up all your monsters. This is crucial to boost your success rate and efficiently farm GB10. So, go ahead and build this team to conquer the giants!
